Pink Poinsetta

I'm really slow this year with making my cards . I developed tendinitis in my wrist from painting so I'm trying to rest it as much as possible to avoid an injection in it. I took on the challenge of painting my living room ,hall and front entrance which I'm very happy with . I made this card several weeks ago so thought I would share it today since I haven't posted for a while . I love white cards but decided to add a touch of color on this one . I sponged white c/s with Spun sugar DI before running it through spellbinders poinsetta die , while still in the die I then sponged with Victorian DI . The branches are IO and leaves are Prima , Merry Christmas is CLD. To finish off I went around the edge with a Viva edging glitter pen .

I'm entering this in :
Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge #215-Sparkle and Shine

Happy Winter

Thought I'd share another card I made recently . I got my inspiration from a posting on Pinterest . I masked off the bottom of my white cardstock with post it note sponged the edge with Stormy Sky DI to get the illusion of snow drifts and then sponged the top with Spun Sugar DI and Stormy Sky DI . The trees Heartfelt Creations Magnificent Spruce Trees -HCPC 3432 which I stamped in Versafine Smokey grey . The Deer Trio is Obsession Impression dies. I distressed the edges of the card and sponged with Stormy Sky DI and then layered on a piece of c/s sponged with Stormy Sky DI. then  attached to the white card base. I added star dust stickles to the trees and punched same stars from glitter c/s. To finish I flicked some watered down acrylic paint with a brush over the top of the trees and sky .

I'm entering my card in the following challenges:

Winter scene

Just wanted to share a card I made for one of my crafty friends Sharon . We always meet and have lunch around this time of year and exchange a small gift and card . I had picked up a new stencil while I was away doing some Christmas shopping and knew that I wanted to do a winter scene with deer and trees . I sponged over the stencil with Stormy Sky DI and then keeping the stencil in place stamped TH trees in Peeled Paint ,  The deer is TH Reindeer in Flight  die . I added some little birds ( IO die)to the branches of the trees and Martha Stewart glitter to the deer. I cut a piece of white c/s for the snow drift ,sponged the edge with  Stormy Sky DI and added star dust stickles for sparkle. Sentiment is a Cheery Lynn Design die .

Thanks for dropping by hope everyone is having a great weekend.
