Happy Birthday your 7

Just wanted to share a Birthday card I made for my grand daughter who is turning 7 next month . Seems like it was only yesterday that she was a toddler . The stamp is one of High Hopes Rubber Stamps called Birthday Bella TT103 that I picked up at the store in Bolton while visiting my son and family. They have such a hugh selection of high quality stamps at reasonable prices.

I stamped the image on white c/s and colored with Copic markers . The balloons were cut on my Cricut machine using cartridge A Child's Year . I added some Stickles for sparkle on the balloons and number . Pattern paper is from Echo Park Happy Birthday . Spellbinders dies used were Labels one and Ribbon Banners.

Rainy Day

We've had such miserable weather here in the Maritimes I've been spending a little more time in my craft room getting caught up on a few cards that I have to get out soon . Today I want to share a card I made for a close friend that is feeling a little down these days . I thought  these cute boots (Penny Black) would cheer her up . Using a raindrop stencil(That's Crafty) I sponged with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder . I then sponged over with Distressed Oxide Ink in Broken China and sprtized with water .I colored the rubber boots with Copic markers and added Glossy Accents to the flowers and dots for dimension then fussy cut them out. The Umbrella is cut from Cricut cartridge A Childs Year. Sentiment is SU stamped on Spellbinders Label and popped up.

Hello

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the eclipse tech . Have seem so many on Pinterest so just had to try  it . Started with white cardstock and using my newly purchased Distressed oxide inks I blended spun sugar , broken china ,fossilized amber and a touch of wilted violet . Love How colors blended so nicely . Then stamped one of Just Rite Florals from the set Black-eyed Susan in each corner and colored with my also NEW Chameleon markers. Next I positioned my Hello die from Quietfire in the center and ran it through my Big Kick . I then cut another Hello from c/s and layered them together ,then popped the hello back on the card with 3D mounting tape. Tiny pieces of the flowers can be seen on the Hello which is so cool . To finish I attached to black c/s ,added a border and butterfly and then attached to my card. Hope you like it and will give this tech a try.

Just wanted to share a Valentine card I made for my sister . Paper is by Authentique Love collection ,Tim Holtz weathered clock, CLD heart die .The sentiment is from the strip on the bottom of the Authentique paper . I sponged the clock with DI in Spun sugar and Victorian Lace then spritized with Distressed Mica spray tarnished brass. I like how it changed the color a bit and gave such a nice shimmer.

Happy Valentines Day

It's been way to long since I've posted anything on my blog ,have had good intentions but just seems like other things got in the way . After seeing so many beautiful Valentine cards posted I thought Id share a couple that I made for my grand daughters. Still have another couple to make for my grandsons before tomorrow . Papers are from Authentic as well as the images . Dies are CLD,IO and Spellbinders, MS heart punch. Sentiment CTMH and Tim Holtz .

Well good morning bloggers it's been way too long since I've posted anything on my blog I hardly know how to post anymore. But today I decided was a good day to start again . I have been making lots of cards but not getting the time to sit and post . Over the weekend I was browsing through some of my Sizzix dies and came across this Bird with Leaves and Flowers die so decided to make a card with it . The weather has been so cold and so much snow around thought this might cheer everyone up a bit . I stamped a flourish image from Fancy Pants Pollen Dust set ( another older set of stamps ) in opposite corners to show through the Mixed Media die Christmas on my card base, stamped and embossed another flourish diagonally in the center of my blue layer . The bird cage was cut with grey core cardstock and distressed to show the white core. I sponged some mustard seed DI and Tumbled Glass DI on white c/s ,stamped script and then cut out my bird . The music is MB and the sentiment is by Dyan Reaverey which I cut apart . To finished off I added black gems and MS lace border to the cage as well as a tiny key and ribbon .

Witchy Ride

It's been so long since I have spent time in craft room or posted anything on my blog I hardy know where to start .Now that the weather has cooled a bit and Halloween is just around the corner I had to get busy and make a few cards to get in the mail for my grand kids . I see so many cute cards and projects that bloggers have posted on their blogs which gave me lots of inspiration . So here's one I made for my grand daughter who loves Halloween . I had purchased this stamp from High Hopes Rubbers Stamps last year while visiting their store in Bolton ,Ontario . They have a large selection of high quality rubber stamps made on site .

This is the inside of the card .

Recipe:
Stamp: Witchy Ride TT018 High Hopes Rubber Stamps,
Inks: Versamark tuxedo black embossed with clear EP, and colored with Copic markers. Mustard seed DI.
Papers: Little yellow bicycle, Bazzille black and orange C/S
Accessories: CLD Winter Neighorhood Border, SB classic circle, Cricut Cartridge Happy Haunting, Stickles.

I fussy cut the image and popped it up with dimensionals as well as the border die . The inside was decorated with various images cut from the Cricut Cartridge Happy Hauntings .

Happy Birthday I'm 5

Just wanted to share my card I made for my sweet grand daughter who just turned 5 on June 12 . She loves doing crafts and we have a great time together making things each time I visit . The stamp (Little Miss sunshine) is a High Hope stamp that I picked up at One Crazy stamper store in Bolton Ontario. They have such cute stamps and are made on site . I colored her with copic markers and added some glitter on the flower . Other supplies used were :

Music Card

It's been a while since I've posted anything here ,although I have been checking in to see what's new in blogland. Today I decided to share a Birthday card I made for my brother who just loves music . He plays the guitar, piano ,violin , harmonica and several other instruments but his favorite is the guitar . Since I already have made him a guitar and a piano card I thought this year I would give him a violin card .  I found a free printable image on Pinterest and came up with this . I copied the image twice and fussey cut the violin ,then embossed it with UTEE twice to give it a nice thick shine which was then popped up in the circle . Other supplies used : TH weathered clock, TH tattered curvy banners, Just Rite stamps Music Notes, Tonic Studio Treble Clef die . Design papers is Bo Bunny Timeless Collection and I used Tea Dye DI to sponge around the edge and on the clock .

Happy Anniversary

It's my son and daughter-in -law's 6th wedding anniversary next week so I made this card for them . They live in Calgary so had to get in the mail so they would get it on time . I chose yellows since its spring time and also one of my favorite colors . I used papers from the Authentique 6x6 bundle :Blissful ( love Authentique paper). I used acrylic paint on the second layer and stamped around the edge with a flourish stamp.

Happy Birthday

Just wanted to share a Birthday card I made for a friend  Her Birthday was in Febuary but I was late getting it to her ( we usually meet for lunch on our birthdays) due to weather and me being away . Last week we met up for an afternoon shopping and I finally gave her this card .
I took my inspiration from Pameilla Johnson's blog My Little Craft Things.
