Pink Poinsetta

I'm really slow this year with making my cards . I developed tendinitis in my wrist from painting so I'm trying to rest it as much as possible to avoid an injection in it. I took on the challenge of painting my living room ,hall and front entrance which I'm very happy with . I made this card several weeks ago so thought I would share it today since I haven't posted for a while . I love white cards but decided to add a touch of color on this one . I sponged white c/s with Spun sugar DI before running it through spellbinders poinsetta die , while still in the die I then sponged with Victorian DI . The branches are IO and leaves are Prima , Merry Christmas is CLD. To finish off I went around the edge with a Viva edging glitter pen .

I'm entering this in :
Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge #215-Sparkle and Shine

Thanks for stopping by feel free to leave a comment I really appreciate reading them .

Hi Marilyn: The pink poinsettia is delicate looking against the white embossed background, and the silver branches & leaves give that pop of winter icy-ness (is that a word? LOL) Really, really pretty.
I hope your wrist feel better soon! Hugs dear friend.

Beautiful card! I like your color combination! :) Last week I was to Truro; almost invested in another poinsettia die! But came home with the horse die instead! :) I like yours! Maybe after Christmas I will get another poinsettia die! They have so very many choices I was taking too long to decide so I guess that is why i got the horse! it was easier! It is very bad I go in all these directions of stores that support my therapy! :) Sorry to hear you are having wrist pain! I hope you are feeling better soon! Take care of yourself! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas also! Health and Happiness!
