Penny Black Saturday Challenge #94

I picked up this cute PB stamp (tweet talk) this week so decided to enter the PB challenge of Butterflies and Bees.
The image was stamped with versafine onyx black ,embossed and then colored with my Copic Markers. DP was from Imaginisce Pretty New Dress. C/S Bo-Bunny pink dots and Prism. Butterflies were punched from MS butterfly punch and layered to get #D effect added some flatback pearls. I couldn't find a bee stamp so came across a bee sticker which I think works quite nicely . The border was punched with MS floral lace edge punch and I added some of the lace ribbon I had won from Sharon Johnson blog hop recently.
I'm happy with how this card turned out

Card Patterns Sketch #57

Good morning I came across this great blog recently and decided to try the sketch for this week . My card uses an older Hero Arts stamp which I stamped and embossed then colored with my Copic Markers. The BG was embossed with my CB folder flower fantasy.Other supplies used were spellbinders nesties label 4 and 8 . Ribbon and pearls from my stash.

Brown color family --DP has brown, Spellbinder rectangle used ,favorite c/s is brown, Added matting around my image and card base,Image stamped with versafine,2 more colors are green and yellow,Yellow ribbon used,punched flowers,butterfly charm,rhinestones for sparkle on hearts,friendship sentiment on the inside.

The Craft Barn March Competition

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. It's back to winter here in Nova Scotia again. We had such beautiful weather this past few weeks but I'm sure it will change back again soon . I was doing blog surfing today and came across a challenge over at The Craft Barn . Haven't done any challenges with scrapbooking so thought I'd give this a go. The page I choose to do was of my grandmother at age 95. She was an amazing women and lived life to the fullest .

S2GSC#46 Cheshire Cat

This week over at Shirley's 2girls sketch challenge they want you to use the digital image they are giving as a freebie (Cheshire Cat). I'm not a cat lover but what the heck it's only a card and I did have fun making it. I colored the image with copic markers , cut it out with spellbinders curved rectangles, sponge around edge with antique linen while still in the die. Paper pierced the swirls and connected holes with black marker for faux stitching. C/S was co-ordinations and Bazzil, DP unknown.

This weeks challenge over at Shirley2girls twisted thursday challenge is to use the color GREEN on your card. I don't often use green to today I like how my card turned out .
Supplies used:
Stamp: Pure Innocence Fairy Girl MFT
Paper: BG and Prism C/S
Inks: Memento rich cocoa, brushed cordroy distressed ink,broken china DI.
Accessories: Copic markers,spellbinders circle and scallop circle dies,label3,sizzix swirl die, SU window punch, MS lattice punch , Stickles , Flower soft(sage),Dew Drops.
I paper pieced the girls dress and added flower soft to the grass and buttons on her shoes.I used a stipple brush to add some blue around the image .
