Well I saw this sweet tag over on Candy Colwell's blog using Tim Holtz's new skate die . I don't have this die so browsed through my Cricut Carts. and came across a skate on the Joy of the Season cart. so I decided to give it a try . I stamped various stamps from a few of my TH collection of stamps with Archival ink (coffee) then sponged with Fired brick & Pine Needles Distress Inks. The skates were cut at 21/2 in. out of Grunge paper and painted with TH picket fence distress paint ( love how the paints go on so smoothly ) . I used Metallic Silver paint dabber for the blades and then embossed with silver embossing powder. I laced the skates with some embroidery floss and then sponge very slightly with a the coffee archival ink . For the snow I used shabby white embossing enamel . Black and white bakers twine and some jingle bells completed by tag . Thank you Candy for inspiration . I'll be adding this tag to my tree .
I'm entering this is in :

Rebel Challenge #30 Winter Holiday
Thanks for dropping by and if you're out and about tonight please stay safe since there's more snow on the way .

Just wanted to share a couple of plain gift bags that I decorated . They were suppose to have made the Just Rite Friday Challenge last week but I forgot to make the post in time . Oh well .
The first one was a white bag and the second was a kraft bag . Really like how they turned out

White Wreath
Just wanted to share with you all in blog land a wreath I made a few years ago while I was in Calgary for xmas. My SIL had a similar one hanging over her fireplace and I knew I had to make one so off to Micheals we went to gather some materials. Very pleased with how it turned out.
