Just popping in tonight to share a card I made recently with a new Penny Black I received for Christmas . Even though it was purchased in the Christmas stamp section I think one could use it for any occasion. I started off with white cardstock stamped my image with onyx black versafine ink and colored with copic markers . I then sponged around the image with DI Evergreen Bough (love this color). The second layer I stamped around the edge with a pine bough stamp in smokey grey and then over stamped with a berry stamp in Evergreen Bough DI. The base card was sponged in Evergreen Bough DI. To finish my card I added TH Poinsettia and IO Pine branch Die 021-N. I added star dust stickles for sparkle as well as DecoArt snow write to the berries and in the upper corners. To get a snow effect I sprinkled some Stampendous Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and heat embossed . Thanks to Pamellia Johnson over at My Little Crafty Things for her inspiration on using only white C/S .

This is a beautiful card and thale white die cuts and sentiment sure do pop! Gorfeous background and layers. Your little bird is perfectly placed and lends a nice touch of whimsy. Awesome sauce design and details!
