Happy Winter

Just popping in tonight to share a card I made recently with a new Penny Black I received for Christmas . Even though it was purchased in the Christmas stamp section I think one could use it for any occasion. I started off with white cardstock stamped my image with onyx black versafine ink and colored with copic markers . I then sponged around the image with DI Evergreen Bough (love this color). The second layer I stamped around the edge with a pine bough stamp in smokey grey and then over stamped with a berry stamp in Evergreen Bough DI. The base card was sponged in Evergreen Bough DI. To finish my card I added TH Poinsettia and IO Pine branch Die 021-N. I added star dust stickles for sparkle as well as DecoArt snow write to the berries and in the upper corners. To get a snow effect I sprinkled some Stampendous Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and heat embossed . Thanks to Pamellia Johnson over at My Little Crafty Things for her inspiration on using only white C/S .

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

Penny Black Saturday Challenge January --ATG
Jingle Belles Something Old, Something New --new stamp, old dies
Addicted to Stamps and More #176 --ATG
Anything But Cute : Challenge #9 ( New stamp )
Live and Love Crafts Challenge #43

Thanks for stopping by hope you like my card . I love reading your comments .

Marilyn: This is wonderful! Really sweet stamp and you did a great job with the colouring. I like your sprinkling of snow, the sequins and other diecuts, especially the embossed poinsettia. Perfect card to post on this snowy day! Hugs, Sharon
