I took a few minutes this afternoon to complete a tag for this weeks challenge over at Studio L3. These weekly challenges are so much fun and thank you Linda for another great one this week Perfect Distress. I followed the instructions on page 38 of Tim's book--Compendium Curiosities added a few embellishments and I was done . The perfect distress is used on the snowflakes and the branches at the bottom of the tag. The flower was a last minute addition --it was laying on my desk from a tag class I had done on Sunday evening .

Oh, what a happy tag! I love this Santa image-- he is the jolliest of them all! The perfectly distressed snowflakes and branches look wonderful, and enhance the sweet, vintage feel beautifully. The poinsettia is a gorgeous touch, and how lucky to have it just sitting there waiting to be used
I adore this sweet work of art, Marilyn! It reminds me of Christmas from my childhood. :-)
