Dream

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. The weather here in Nova Scotia has been so nice it's hard to believe that fall is just around the corner. I haven't made many cards recently but I do want to share with you a plaque that I made using the TH distress stains. I'm in love with them. The wooden plaque I picked up at the dollar store and covered with vintage photo DS--it goes on so smooth and even.I'll be using it on other projects for sure. The flowers were made with my Cricut accent essential cartridge and sponged with DI's and shaped. I stamped TH flourish with black acrylic paint as well as the sentiment. The bird cage was cut out of grunge paper using TH bird cage die and sponged with DI and embossed with distress EP in a few areas to give a rustic look .TH charms were added to the bottom of the cage. This was a fun project to make and I've added it to my craft room wall.
Hope you like it too.

Thanks for looking

Wow Marilyn! Your detailed description on the phone of how you created this,I could picture the plaque in my mind. Seeing the pic,it's even so much better! Really like those cricut flowers and the "verdigris" finish of the bird cage.
Nice addition to your craft room.
