Just Rite Friday Challenge #97 Color Inspiration.

Well I'm finally back home and crafting again after a wonderful trip to Calgary to visit my son and family for a couple of weeks . The weather was gorgeous sunshine everyday but now I'm back to the Maritime weather of rain . Oh well guess we can't have it all !!!
Today I spent some time in my craft room since it's so miserable outside and made a card for a couple of challenges that is going on this week . I love doing the challenge for Just Rite Stamps ,this week the challenge is color inspiration using--peach/ Lt. Orange,aqua/ teal, cream. Here's what I came up with

The base is cream and I dry embossed the aqua border and pattern paper using the Cricut Hexagon EF  and a CB floral swirl EF.
Supplies used:

Paper: Bazille peach and aqua c/s, SU very vanilla c/s, Graphic45 PP Little Darling collection
Ink: Sepia archival , Versa mark , SU Cool Caribean
Stamps: Just Rite Elegant Frames
Accessories:  Spellbinders label 10, MS Lacy border punch,Cheery Lynn Dies Exotic Butterfly, French Pastry doily, Fanciful Flourish, Cricut EF Hexagon, CB embossing folder( no sure of name ), flowers and rhinestones from my stash.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
JustRite Friday Challenge #97--color inspiration

Thanks for dropping by and have a great weekend .

This is beautiful ! I'm surprised at just how much the dry embossing adds to the card. I really need to pull those out more, judging by this. It's just beautifully put together.

Welcome back, Marilyn! I missed your posts! Good to hear it was a wonderful trip. :)

Your card is so lovely. Such a pretty layout and the doily looks so sweet behind the JR stamp/die cut. The dry embossing is the cherry on top!

Hugs!

Aw, didn't you get any snow last weekend ;) My mom is coming out from Vancouver next week & I've told everyone they better not say anything about it. She's just about convinced herself it never goes above 10C here. lol!
I wish the CB folders had the names printed on them! Would make it so much easier to remember :) I know the one you used is one of my favourites, though! I love how it looks on the gingham. And that butterfly, and those flowers...such a soft & pretty card!

Hi Marilyn. Your Happy Birthday card is so pretty. I love those colors you've used together. The sweet lacy doily behind your sentiment looks really good and accentuates the white stamping that you've done around "Happy Birthday". I also love those dimensional die cut butterflies. So delicate and pretty. The dimenisnonal flowers look awesome over the leafy flourish. <3 Candy
