This week over at Cheery Lynn Design they are asking to use stitches on your project . I love teh look of stitches on my cards but seem to forget to use it alot so for this card I pulled out my machine and zig zagged around the edge with black thread . I'm pleased with how it changed the look of the card bringing the 3 colors together . I stamped the image on white c/s and then ran it through the CB textile ef. The flowers were made by cutting a circle in a spiral freehand and then rolling . I do this with a lot of my scraps . The scallop square I cut with my Cricut using the Elegant Frames Cartridge then attached to the base .

Marilyn, this is GORGEOUS!! I love how you ebossed over the image and those dies are so fabulous. I make my flowers the same way, have you tried doing them with decorative scissors?
WOW! The texture is simply incredible! I love the detail of the dies & embossing, and that flower cluster is so pretty, Marilyn! When I do that I end up with a wrinkly ball o' paper :)
This is so pretty! Thanks so much for joining us at the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge and good luck!

Fab card, and that black stitching really does pull it all together perfectly.
