Good morning bloggers just wanted to pop in and share a card I made for a friends birthday coming up . Since spring is suppose to be here thought I'd go with something springy . I started off with a white base for my card then sponged it with Peacock DI ,for the next layer I used Tim's Gothic stencil and following Pameilla Johnson's Faux Embroidery tech . which you can find
HERE I applied the stencil diagonally across the card and then on the other half just sponged over the stencil using again Peacock DI. Really happy with the look. Flowers were made from TH's tattered florals garland and sponged with Salty Ocean DI and Vintage photo DI. Leaves are Prima Marketing. Other dies used are Spellbinders Decorative Labels 22 , Labels 4 and Garden Weave. Stamp is by Penny Black .
I'm entering this in the following challenges :
Thanks for stopping by I love reading your comments .

Hi Marilyn,
this is very gorgeous creation.
Love the super flowers, and their wonderful colour.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Beautiful! Love your color combination and all your flowers! Hummm... I like that peacock DI color! Spring is here! :) the snow is slowing melting way! I just got back from our walk without snow shoes! Still well over a foot of snow in the woods! But the true sign of spring, rhubarb on top of the hill is sprouting! (Ours are still under a foot of snow!) But it is coming! Thanks again for sharing and inspiring! Have a great week!
Hi Marilyn!
I heard there was more snow out your way. This Spring seems to be confused and thinks it's supposed to be Winter.
Love your card, it's gorgeous!
I wonder if you could change it so that when you click on the photo, it gets bigger. I would love to be able to see all the amazing details that you put in your cards. Thanks!
Shona I've tried to change this but can't seem to make it happen . I think it's because I take my pic.'s with my ipad and email them to myself and blogger won't let me change the sizewhen you click on the photo. I did enlarge the image on my post . so hope this helps. If you have any ideas let me know .
