Frilly and Funkie : your favorite vintage style

Well the Frilly and Funkie challenges have begun and here's my entry for the challenge this week --I chose one of the Stampsmith stamps --girlfriends for my image . Usually I stamp the photo stamps on glossy cardstock but today I tried the LaBlanche speciality cardstock with versamagic chaulk ink and was amazed at how detailed the image turned out and that I only tried once normally with glossy c/s I tend to try several times before I'm pleased with the image so guess what I'll always use the LaBlanche paper from now on.
Other supplies used
Stamps: Stampsmith girlfriends, CTMH sentiment
Paper: MME Madison Ave.collection,bazzil c/s
Ink: Versa Magic Archival Jumbo Java
Assessories: EK success scallop punches, MS around the page lattice punch,
paper doily,TH rosette ribbon, pearls from my stash.

Hi Marilyn, everything about your card is awesome - the papers (love the newsprint, the dots and the stripes) the colors and especially that image. The sentiment is so perfect for that image - what a fun vintage style card!

I am so thrilled that you have joined in the fun of our first challenge and hope you will be a regular at Frilly and Fancy!

Hugs,
Linda

Hi Marilyn: Such a pretty feminine card!!! I see that you used the new flower ribbon we both bought at the Crop last weekend. Really suits the theme of your card.
